Day 7

Thursday 13 March

The Task: Pick up any litter I find at War Memorial Park.

Result: There was not a lot of rubbish but still there was rubbish including milk boxes, socks, and other stuff.

A Reflection: Today I went to my cricket practice and saw rubbish. It wasn't a good expectation because it's a park. It needs to be green.

Photo: (Couldn't take a photo because I was at cricket practice.)

Day 6

Wednesday 12 March

The Task: Pick up all litter I find in my street.

Result: Today was good because I wondered my street and there was no rubbish at all.

A Reflection: It is very good to see no rubbish. It means that people are thinking a lot about pollution.

What Next: I will just sit back and relax.

Day 5

Tuesday 11 March

The Task: Find any rubbish on my way to school.

Result: There was tissue outside my house doorway. It probably flew from somewhere but still people are still polluting and that's not good at all.

A Reflection: Today made me realise that there are so many people that just don't even care about the environment.

What Next: I will probably just wait see what happens tomorrow.

Day 4

Monday 10 March

The Task: Today is Monday, the start of the week, well for most people. Anyways people going to work probably wake up early and probably don't even bother making their breakfast, so, they go to bakery's and buy something there or even somewhere else. And most these people probably just eat and drive, and once they are finished, they'll probably just chuck the rubbish outside by opening their car windows. So, today I will find some rubbish on my way to school.

Result: Near Lamia Court there was some rubbish lying around, and it was stuff like Up & Go etc. So I got the rubbish and put it in the school bin.

A Reflection: Today made me realise that probably the teens who walk to Alfriston College just throw their rubbish as I've seen people drink Up & Go in the morning while walking to Alfriston College.

What Next: I can't just go up to teens and say stuff to them, obviously. But I will have to something about it. Probably keep picking the rubbish up or something.

Photo: (Couldn't take as I was going to school, wasn't at home or anything.)

Day 3

Sunday 9 March

The Task: Today is a day where most of the people relax, but they can also be lazy and just chuck their rubbish outside. So, I am going to find as much rubbish I can.

Result: Considering it is Sunday, I thought there was going to be some rubbish but guess what! There wasn't any rubbish, which is great!

A Reflection: I think that today is going great, so, as there isn't any rubbish lying around, I think that it's a great thing to happen. Everybody is actually caring about the rubbish everywhere.

What Next: I think that I will just relax today as there is no rubbish.

Day 2

Saturday 8 March 2014

The Task: Go around the street, and pick up any litter I find.

Result: Today there was a big pile of junk outside our neighbours front yard, and it probably people I could hear very late last night while I was sleeping.

A Reflection: Today I realised that how many bad people there are, just coming very late at night, doing silly stuff, and then chucking their rubbish outside someone's front yard!

What Next: I will call the Auckland Council to do something about this as it is not good, and may get even worse, who knows?

Day 1

Friday 7 March 2014

The Task: Go around the street and pick up litter I can find.

Result: The amount of rubbish was very minimal which is good but the rubbish was probably lying around from a day ago.

A Reflection: Picking up the litter wasn't hard at all, and it is good keeping your street clean. But I think that our street does care as the rubbish was only very little.

What Next: I think that I will tell our street that if you see any rubbish, just pick it up to keep the street clean.
